Awa Band is back, this time paying homage to the Afrobeat genre of the African 70 era sound of Fela Kuti. from the mega-success of "Timba", which made another appearance on DJ Monki 2yurican Soul, on the Hot Creation label, and on the Sand Rivera mix of Timba. These two Afrobeat tracks, also pay tribute to the great Tony Allen the inventor of the Afrobeat drums, with whom awa band had a great relationship, and collaborated on the awa band "Baba Batture single.
